Texas Agricultural Lifetime Leadership is a practical, action-oriented, two-year program in which participants attend eight educational seminars; five held at different regions across the state and two more on the East and West Coast. The program concludes with an international study abroad for the eighth seminar.
On-site tours of studies of agriculture-related businesses and industries help participants discover firsthand procedures and problems in production, processing, transportation, marketing, and financing.
The TALL group is made up of young Agricultural business minded people looking for leadership and knowledge of the Agricultural industry. This new 2018-2020 group is made up of 25 participants and the coordinator Dr. Jim Mafzurkiewiez. This group (as each group) is made up from all across the state of Texas, average age late twenties (post graduate)
Bud Wright met the group with an introduction at the main office before they headed out to tour the facilities. Michael Green coordinated the portion of the tour that displayed the capabilities and processes of the pet food plant. All of products adhere to strict, rigorous testing and holding from incoming ingredient through finished product stage. This occurs at The Quality Assurance Lab where Mike Compton gave them a bird-eye view. Josh Evans finished their tour by walking them through the immaculate rows in the feed warehouse. The TALL group comes through East Texas every two years and TFP Nutrition is fortunate to be a selected destination.
